Job Description:

This role supports State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) business sales by leveraging technical expertise to design and present solutions that address public sector business and mission-driven challenges. It involves consulting on customer opportunities within government and education environments, developing tailored solutions, and providing technical support during sales engagements. The role requires maintaining specialist knowledge of cloud-based value-added solutions aligned to public sector compliance and security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for product and market insights. Success is measured by the ability to effectively support SLED sales processes, maintain technical certifications, and contribute to customer satisfaction within regulated environments. The work impacts the organization by enabling informed sales strategies and enhancing customer experiences through technical consultation and solution design for public sector customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage in customer meetings with state agencies, local municipalities, and education institutions to understand mission objectives, compliance requirements, and identify solution opportunities that drive SLED sales support activities
  • Consult with sales teams and SLED customers to develop and recommend cloud-based value-added solutions that meet public sector business, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain specialist knowledge and certifications in relevant technologies, including familiarity with public sector compliance frameworks (e.g., CJIS, FERPA, HIPAA, FedRAMP where applicable), to ensure up-to-date technical expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, legal, and engineering to provide feedback on SLED-specific requirements and support special projects
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
