Job Responsibility:

  • Customer Engagement: Participate in pre-sales meetings with customers to understand their business challenges and requirements
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations of SAP solutions to potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Solution Development: Identify and describe solution options, evaluating pros and cons, and making recommendations
  • Create high-level solution design diagrams
  • Develop solution approaches, including staffing, timelines, and cost models
  • Prepare proposals to RFIs/RFPs
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to identify SAP services, IP, and value propositions
  • Support sales cycles with case studies, sales presentations, and customer presentations
  • Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal development and presentation
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team
  • Train other members of the pre-sales team on SAP solutions
  • Proposal Development: Handle the development of proposals to RFIs/RFPs, as needed, and drive solution expertise and competitive messaging in the RFP response package
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends
  • Understand business processes and industry challenges to align SAP solutions with client's strategic goals
  • Staying Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to ensure SAP solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (solution architects, subject matter experts) to design customized solutions aligned with client needs and industry standards
  • Other Responsibilities: Oversee POCs within the overall sales context
  • Participate in demand generation and account growth brainstorming workshops
  • Contribute to continuous product development and organizational competitiveness by providing feedback on market requirements
  • Prepare technical proposals to Requests for Information (RFI) / Requests for Proposal (RFP) / Requests for Quotation (RFQ)

Requirements:

  • SAP Logistics Pre-Sales Manager - collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand their needs, propose tailored SAP solutions, and demonstrate the value of SAP logistics modules like SD/MM/PP, while also supporting sales cycles and building strong customer relationships
  • Possess a strong understanding of SAP MM,SD&PP modules and solutions
  • Possess a strong understanding of SAP logistics modules (SD/MM/PP), industry best practices, and implementation methodologies
