Job Responsibility:
Drive the success of power IP and features in AMD products through leadership and coordination, resolution of technical dependencies, and achievement of schedule commits
Span pre-silicon architecture to post-silicon implementation and product delivery
Requirements:
Strong experience with ROS or ROS 2
Solid understanding of robotics fundamentals: Perception, SLAM, navigation, motion planning, control
Strong C/C++ development skills (object oriented design)
Hands on experience with robotics simulation tools (Gazebo / Ignition / Isaac Sim)
Practical experience on Linux based robotics systems
Debugging and system level problem solving skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Nice to have:
Experience with GPU accelerated vision or AI pipelines
Familiarity with OpenCV, GStreamer, FFmpeg
Exposure to AI frameworks (PyTorch / ONNX Runtime)
Experience with robot sensors (camera, LiDAR, IMU) and drivers
Knowledge of embedded systems or platform bring up
Experience contributing to Linux or open source projects
