Job Responsibility:

  • Platform Administration: Deploying, installing, configuring, and upgrading the SolarWinds Orion platform and its various modules such as NPM, SAM, NCM, NTA, WPM, SRM, VMAN
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Designing and fine tuning complex alerting logic including dependencies, suppressions, and thresholds to reduce alert noise while ensuring critical incidents are captured
  • Customization & Reporting: Creating advanced modern dashboards, maps, and custom reports using SQL or SWQL to provide real time visibility for technical and executive teams
  • System Integration: Integrating SolarWinds with other Management Tools and ITSM tools like ServiceNow automate incident creation and management workflows
  • Troubleshooting & Performance: Performing root cause analysis (RCA) for complex infrastructure incidents and resolving platform specific issues like polling failures, grayed out nodes, or database health concerns
  • Automation: Utilizing PowerShell or Python and the SolarWinds Information Service (SWIS) API to automate the discovery and onboarding of new nodes and applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Higher Degree
  • Minimum entry required for the position
  • Skill Set: SolarWinds Server Configuration Monitor
  • Total Experience: 5.00 to 8.00 Years
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SolarWinds modules (NPM, SAM, NCM, etc.) and experience with network protocols like SNMP (v2c/v3), WMI, Syslog, ICMP, and NetFlow
  • Scripting & Databases: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation, and basic knowledge of MS SQL Server for backend performance management
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking (VLANs, VPNs, routing), servers (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
  • Experience: 6 8 years of experience on the Solarwinds Tool
  • Domain Healthcare would be preferable

Nice to have:

  • SolarWinds Certified Professional would be an advantage
  • Domain Healthcare would be preferable
