Job Description:

ANS seeks a Sr. Software Engineer (ServiceNow) to join the team in Chantilly, VA. The role involves planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, securing, integrating, implementing, operating, and maintaining custom solutions that ANS delivers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert knowledge of network management systems, operating systems, COTs/GOTs, and tool integration
  • Oversee team in deploying, administering, developing, and integrating ServiceNow on RHEL and Windows
  • Lead team using Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Technical Leads
  • Direct integration efforts with Cisco NSO, GOTS, and enterprise tools
  • Oversee creation/maintenance of technical documentation and user training
  • Monitor team efforts to maintain IT system performance/availability
  • Lead team in hardening/securing systems and supporting RMF A&A
  • Guide automation/orchestration of ServiceNow deployments (Ansible, Python, Terraform, PowerShell)
  • Manage troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of complex issues
  • Direct system performance analysis and tuning
  • Lead engineering projects through SDLC
  • Oversee delivery of deployable solution packages
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • TS SCI Poly clearance
  • 16 years of combined work/education experience (e.g., doctorate + 8 years, master's + 10 years, bachelor's + 12 years, associate's + 14 years, HS + 16 years)
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 certification
  • At least 5 years of relevant ServiceNow experience
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
  • At least one other advanced ServiceNow certification
  • Team Leadership experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow SDLC phases
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or SDLC
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead others
  • Ability to process customer trouble calls and implement solutions
  • Experience automating ServiceNow implementations for large enterprises
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing, validation, and verification
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
