Job Responsibility

  • Design, architecture and hands-on development of scalable .NET-based web applications, with strong focus on backend services and RESTful APIs
  • Further development and maintenance of an Azure-hosted chatbot platform, including self-service management features
  • Implementation and optimization of backend logic using C#/.NET for controllers, services and integrations
  • Collaboration in an international team, working closely with colleagues in Germany and India, including code reviews and technical alignment
  • Contribution to architectural decisions with focus on maintainability, scalability, security and cloud best practices
  • Database design, data modeling and performance optimization, including writing and improving SQL queries
  • Support of frontend development tasks, including integration of backend services with web frontends
  • Continuous improvement of development processes, including automation, code quality, documentation and deployment pipelines
  • Technical support and consulting for product owners, team lead and stakeholders to achieve overall functional and platform objectives

Requirements

  • Proactive, self-driven and solution-oriented personality, with a high level of ownership and quality awareness
  • Ability to quickly understand complex platforms and existing codebases, especially in long-running enterprise environments
  • Very strong experience in C# and .NET (.NET Framework and/or .NET Core) with solid understanding of enterprise-grade backend architectures
  • Extensive experience in backend web development, especially with RESTful services, JSON-based APIs and controller-based architectures
  • Good knowledge of Azure cloud services, particularly application hosting, security concepts and cloud-based integrations
  • Solid understanding of databases and data access, including SQL, relational database concepts and performance tuning
  • Experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with focus on backend–frontend integration
  • Strong software engineering mindset, including clean code principles, design patterns, testing and documentation
  • Experience working in international and distributed teams, with strong communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Very good command of technical English (spoken and written)
  • German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory
