Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Security Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions for our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring robust protection across hyperscale cloud platforms and compliance with industry standards. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security, zero trust architecture, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks. This critical role will support public sector (SLED) projects across all four hyperscalers: AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. These roles are not siloed and will be expected to wear multi-hats and cross train across all domains and work day to day with the larger dedicated team within the Cloud Practice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and architect secure solutions for hyperscale cloud environments, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP, and Oracle Cloud OCI
  • Implement and manage security solutions such as Qualys, CrowdStrike Falcon, Palo Alto Cortex Cloud, Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls, and CyberArk PAM
  • Develop and enforce Zero Trust security models to ensure comprehensive protection of cloud and hybrid environments
  • Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 (Revision 5) standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop governance policies, and maintain compliance programs to mitigate security risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into enterprise architecture and DevSecOps pipelines
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security team members
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to recommend proactive measures
  • Develop and maintain documentation for security architectures, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen work authorization required
  • Ability to meet FBI CJIS background check and clearance requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security architecture
  • Must have multi-cloud experience in Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP, and/or Oracle Cloud OCI
  • Must have Hands-on experience with Qualys, CrowdStrike Falcon, Palo Alto Cortex Cloud, Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls, and/or CyberArk
  • Zero Trust principles and implementation experience
  • Must have experience with NIST 800-53 (Revision 5) and other GRC frameworks
  • Ability to design and implement complex security architectures in multi-cloud environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address security challenges
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, threat modeling, and compliance auditing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
