Tier4 Group is seeking a senior-level, hands-on Salesforce Developer who’s ready to lead from the front—owning architecture decisions, building scalable solutions, and driving real business impact across the platform. This role is ideal for someone who blends deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement, and can translate business needs into thoughtful, high-performing Salesforce solutions. You’ll report to the Director of IT Development and partner closely with the IT Program Manager to deliver across a dynamic project portfolio.
Job Responsibility
Define and drive the Salesforce technical roadmap, modernizing and enhancing existing systems
Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and related tools
Configure and extend Salesforce with workflows, automations, triggers, and validation rules
Lead integrations with internal and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party tools
Own key aspects of Salesforce administration including security, user management, and process automation
Manage environments and releases (sandbox strategy, deployments, version control)
Maintain data quality and integrity through audits, monitoring, and governance practices
Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams to deliver solutions aligned to business outcomes
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and admins
Stay current on Salesforce releases and continuously improve the platform
Produce clear, maintainable documentation and provide ongoing user support
Requirements
8+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture
5+ years delivering complex integrations across systems
2+ years of Salesforce administration experience
Strong hands-on expertise with Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and APIs
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and best practices
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado or similar)
Proven ability to own solutions end-to-end in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills—you can engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
