Job Description

The Sr. Sales Director, U.S. Federal – DoD (Networking) leads the strategy and execution to grow networking revenue, pipeline, and market share across the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). This role drives a comprehensive DoD go-to-market plan across all service branches and DoD agencies/commands (e.g., Army, Air Force, Navy/Marine Corps, DISA, Combatant Commands, and Fourth Estate agencies) and partners closely with Systems Engineering, product/BU leaders, and the channel ecosystem to win and expand complex networking opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Achieve or exceed annual networking revenue and bookings targets across DoD accounts
  • Build and sustain a robust, qualified pipeline that supports predictable growth
  • Improve forecast accuracy and execution discipline through consistent operating cadence
  • Build and develop a high-performing sales leadership team and culture
  • Own and execute the DoD networking go-to-market strategy across all services and agencies
  • Drive new logo acquisition and expansion aligned to DoD modernization initiatives
  • Develop and maintain annual and multi-year business plans
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits from opportunity shaping through close
  • Orchestrate selling motions across direct sellers, SEs, specialists, and partners
  • Minimize channel and internal conflict and broker resolution as needed
  • Support pricing strategy and non-standard pricing approvals
  • Ensure disciplined pipeline generation, qualification, and progression
  • Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance
  • Drive execution management through regular pipeline and deal reviews
  • Build trusted relationships with senior DoD technical, operational, and acquisition leaders as well as DoD peers in the reseller/partner/Federal Systems Integrator Community
  • Represent the company in executive briefings and key customer forums
  • Lead, coach, and develop sales leaders and sellers across the DoD portfolio
  • Own hiring, performance management, succession planning, and talent development

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology sales experience with significant U.S. Federal exposure (DoD preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
  • Proven success leading complex, enterprise sales cycles
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • U.S. citizenship required for many DoD engagements

Nice to have

  • Experience leading large sales teams, including managing leaders
  • Strong knowledge of Federal resellers, integrators, and alliance partners
  • Active Secret clearance preferred
  • TS/SCI a plus

  • Own the end-to-end retention and experience roadmap for the highest-leverage patient journeys (e.g., onboarding → first outcomes, medication support, renewals, cancellations), identifying where trust breaks and redesigning journeys to reduce friction and increase long-term adherence
  • Translate patient + commercial problems into clear hypotheses, measurable success metrics, and an execution plan that ships improvements fast and compounds over time
  • Drive step-change performance in our operating model (triage, QA, macros, knowledge base, escalation paths), reducing repeat contacts and backlog while improving patient confidence and resolution quality
  • Define and operationalise world-class service levels (SLAs), staffing models, and capacity plans across peaks, new launches and campaign periods
  • Partner with Product/Engineering to build operational platform capabilities (automation, self-serve, workflow tooling, dashboards) that reduce patient effort, improve quality, and lower cost-to-serve
  • Work cross-functionally with Clinical Ops, Pharmacy, Supply Chain/Fulfilment and Growth to resolve systemic issues that harm patient experience
  • Build business cases that quantify patient, revenue, and margin impact
  • influence prioritisation so the team invests in the highest-return work
