Requirements

  • Selecting or Identifying Areas/Test cases for Automation
  • Proficiency with Tricentis Tosca, including experience with modules, test cases, and test design
  • Experience with model-based testing concepts
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca
  • Create test case templates, modules, and libraries within the Tosca framework
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to resolve them
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and improve software quality
  • Integrate Tosca with CI/CD pipelines and other development tools like Jenkins
  • Understand the fundamentals of Kubernetes and how to test applications deployed on AWS's managed Kubernetes service
  • Monitor test execution and report on test results
  • Participate in test planning and strategy sessions
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices
  • Experience with API testing and SQL is often required
  • Experience with Agile and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) is beneficial
