Sr QA Analyst Job at Robert Half (Cincinnati)

Job Description

We are looking for a Sr QA Analyst to join a long-term contract opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is ideal for a senior quality specialist who can lead testing efforts, strengthen test practices, and introduce scalable automation while remaining hands-on with execution. The position requires someone who can work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and drive progress across functional, end-to-end, and data validation activities.

Job Responsibility

Lead quality assurance activities across multiple initiatives, including functional, end-to-end, regression, and data-focused testing efforts
Design comprehensive test strategies, create detailed test plans and cases, and guide execution to support timely and accurate delivery
Establish and configure automated testing frameworks, develop reusable test scripts, and expand automation where it improves speed, coverage, and repeatability
Build and maintain testing dashboards and reporting views that provide clear insight into progress, defects, risks, and overall test cycle health
Coordinate daily testing activities, prioritize work across concurrent projects, and ensure issues are escalated and resolved in partnership with project leadership
Perform hands-on validation of data conversions, including reconciliation, exception analysis, and verification of business rules across source and target datasets
Develop Python-based solutions using pandas to transform raw CSV files, automate validation checks, and produce exception reports, metrics, and audit-ready outputs
Apply data cleansing, deduplication, and integrity controls to improve data quality, including handling formatting issues, duplicate logic, and file-level inconsistencies
Collaborate closely with client and internal teams to secure required access, remove blockers, and keep testing moving efficiently to completion
Follow established quality standards, documentation practices, and artifact retention requirements while supporting both manual and automated testing as needed

Requirements

Senior quality specialist who can lead testing efforts, strengthen test practices, and introduce scalable automation while remaining hands-on with execution
Strong experience leading QA activities for enterprise projects, including test planning, execution oversight, and coordination of multiple testing workstreams
Proven background in both manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience using Selenium for browser-based test automation
Demonstrated ability to create meaningful QA dashboards and status reporting that communicate test progress, outcomes, and risk clearly to different audiences
Advanced data validation and conversion experience, including analysis of source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and exception handling
Proficiency with Python and pandas to build repeatable scripts for data transformation, validation, and reporting
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining highly collaborative, dependable, and proactive in solving problems
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for project teams, leadership, and client stakeholders
Relevant software quality certifications are valued, such as CSQA, CMSQ, CASQ, or comparable QA/testing credentials
