Proven experience as a Manager or Sr. Property Accountant for a minimum of 5 years
Proficient in using BlackLine and Concur software
Demonstrable understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Skilled in various accounting functions
Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience in auditing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Familiarity with billing functions and procedures
Proficient in using Yardi property management software

Job Responsibility

Oversee and manage all components of accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate payments are made
Regularly review and approve invoices and manage vendor relationships, adhering strictly to company policies
Take charge of fund-level syndications, which includes capital calls, investor reporting, and compliance
Manage fund-level distributions to ensure accurate and timely disbursements to investors
Lead the transition from our current accounting systems to the Yardi platform
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless transition and integration of the new system
Train staff on the new system and develop procedures to optimize its use
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
