Sr. Project Manager

• Positively represent the employer to clients and act as a liaison between the clients and employer departments
• Determine project schedule and communicate with shop and other departments
• Manage and communicate complex budgets, change orders, and adjustments to project scope
• Drive the processes needed for successful project completion in an organized and consistent manner
• Thoroughly review drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specs before production commences
• Create project work-back schedules, identifying milestones and timelines
• Coordinate purchasing of material to maintain established schedule
• Manage material tickets, nesting lists, and packing lists for submittal to shop
• Organize and oversee the delivery schedule and transportation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient movements
• Coordinate delivery schedule and transportation
• Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences

• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years or more of direct experience required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the heavy industrial steel fabrication industry
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with diverse groups of people to achieve goals
• Experience with CAD software and ERP/MRP systems
• Basic knowledge of steel fabrication standards required (AISC, ASME, API, AWS, etc.) as well as related ASTM standards
• Experience managing ASME-certified projects is preferred
• Capable of interpreting fabrication drawings and understanding basic fabrication terminology
