The Sr Project Manager leads delivery for complex, high-impact initiatives involving cross-functional teams across the organization, supporting Internet and Broadband product initiatives with broad visibility. The role applies sound project management practices to drive work forward in dynamic environments and requires strong communication to balance competing priorities. Success is measured by proactive risk management, clear communication, and alignment of delivery outcomes with business objectives in support of product goals. This role is embedded within a product delivery organization and operates with a high degree of ownership and accountability for outcomes, rather than functioning as a centralized PMO or governance role.
Job Responsibility:
Drive project status reporting and meetings to support shared understanding of progress, risks, and delivery needs across complex initiatives
Maintain project health through proactive communication, collaboration, and issue awareness across teams with minimal oversight
Identify and address risks across assigned initiatives, coordinating mitigation efforts with delivery partners to minimize impact to product outcomes
Communicate risks, impacts, and options clearly to senior leadership in both planned and ad hoc scenarios with recommended paths forward
Partner across teams to coordinate delivery needs across multiple workstreams, as applicable
Manage scope and change adjustments to support delivery alignment with business objectives while navigating competing priorities
Perform other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed, including support for delivery planning and coordination across multiple initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
Advanced degree preferred
Acceptable areas of study include Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
4+ years of formal project management work experience, with an ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
