You will plan, monitor and coordinate project tasks, as well as maintain and update project plans and schedules. You will direct the activities of internal and external team members to meet project objectives. You will also implement design changes into production for current products and provide consultation support of other cost savings projects. In addition, you will proactively engage in ongoing team process improvements and standard work lean office activities.
Job Responsibility
Managing multiple projects varying in size, complexity and business impact
Leading and/or participating in cost savings ideation events
Developing cost savings ideas into feasible projects
Scoping, planning, and execution of projects
General project management (forming project teams, budgeting, assigning and tracking tasks, identify and mitigating project risks, etc.)
Evaluating and applying regulatory standards
Review of design inputs and outputs
Working with suppliers to implement new designs
Requirements
5+ years of applied project management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Biomed preferred)
Applied experience with Microsoft Project as well as other Office Suite applications
Prior SAP experience preferred (including DIRs, BOMs, MMDS, and Engineering Change Requests)
Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations
Well-versed in Medical Device Design Controls
Strong communication skills including experience communicating to senior leadership
Nice to have
