Position Overview: As a key member of the Operations Strategy team, the Program Manager will lead the DREAM program, driving cost savings initiatives across the North American Zone. This highly adaptable leader will translate board-level financial targets (the 'WISH') into actionable category commitments (e.g., labor, scrap, quality, freight) and ensure sustainable realization. Because our strategic focus shifts as programs mature, this role requires exceptional agility and the ability to pivot to new priority areas as the business evolves.
Job Responsibility
DREAM Portfolio Management: Strategic Allocation: Break down top-level board commitments into target savings categories
Pipeline Development: Cultivate, mature, and track project opportunities through the intake process and ECHO Tracker management
Portfolio Analytics: Ensure process adherence and deliver weekly/monthly Standard (STD) reporting on portfolio health
Run-Rate Governance & Financial Alignment: Finance Partnership: Work deeply with Finance to ensure project savings translate to actual P&L performance
Leakage Prevention: Monitor ongoing operations and P&L metrics to identify and mitigate standard operational leakage that offsets project gains
Governance Rhythms: Lead weekly run-rate updates and monthly governance reviews across the North America Zone, Plant, and Product Family levels
Strategic Alignment: Ensure metric alignment for MBOs/Policy Deployment and provide triage recommendations when targets are at risk
PMO & Capability Development: Standardization: Manage and refine PM playbooks and PMO policy development
Team Advancement: Conduct PM skills assessments (Supply Chain) and lead PM 101 Training to elevate the organization's overall project management maturity
Agile Transitioning: Must continually mature programs with capability to pivot focus as necessary and potentially offload them to standard operations as run-ready packages
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
7+ years in Program/Portfolio Management, Operations Strategy, or Continuous Improvement, ideally within a large-scale manufacturing environment
Project Management Professional (PMP) highly preferred
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) strongly recommended
Deep financial acumen with a proven ability to bridge operational metrics and P&L impacts
Expertise in PMO governance, standard reporting (STD), and pipeline development
Executive-level communication skills to interface with Senior Leadership, Finance, and Plant-level leadership
