Job Description:

The Regulatory Remediation Task Force (RRTF) is a specialist team that leads critical cross-functional programs to strengthen Citi’s regulatory reporting and compliance framework in India. The role focuses on fixing structural issues in data, controls, and processes across key RBI submissions and working closely with business, risk, data, and tech teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead specific transformation and remediation projects, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and compliance
  • Drive cross-franchise coordination and representation across various governance forums, influencing decisions and ensuring alignment on regulatory priorities
  • Primary owner of critical RBI submissions (e.g., Advances Indent), ensuring completeness, timeliness, accuracy and audit readiness of these submissions
  • Translate complex RBI expectations and requirements into clear business and data requirements, and hold relevant functions accountable for their execution and adherence
  • Act as a senior interface with Functions, Business, Data, and Technology teams, facilitating robust collaboration and problem-solving
  • Provide strategic Project Management (PM) support to critical cross-franchise regulatory projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation
  • Translate RBI expectations into business / data requirements and hold functions accountable
  • Proactively manage risks, escalate issues, and propose actionable solutions
  • Provide strategic support to the SVP in stakeholder management, regulatory interactions, and executive briefings

Requirements:

  • ~8-10 years’ experience in banking or financial services, with significant exposure to regulatory reporting or project management
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven track record of driving complex cross-functional initiatives in challenging regulatory environments
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex regulatory environments
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, regulatory standards, and RBI reporting requirements
  • Strong Program / Project Management and Coordination experience
