Job Description:

The Sr Program Manager, Director will be responsible for managing complex, time-sensitive, business-critical programs/projects across multiple businesses and functions, including the five businesses, Risk, Finance, and Compliance. The role involves proactive identification and resolution of delivery problems, managing dependencies, risks, exceptions, and issues, and leading teams of subject matter experts to design and implement solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for matrix managing teams across businesses/functions, leading, supervising, coaching, and developing junior team members, and effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for the successful program management of Use Cases, programs/projects in the Enterprise Data Office Program Office book of work
  • Manage complex, time sensitive, business critical programs/projects across multiple businesses and functions, including the five businesses, Risk, Finance, and Compliance
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery problems
  • Identify, prioritize and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions and issues
  • Provide content-led program/project management to lead teams of subject matter experts to execute committed projects, design and implement solutions
  • Matrix manage teams across businesses/functions to successfully deliver programs/projects
  • Lead, supervise, coach and develop junior EDO Program Office team members
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders of varying seniority and external stakeholders, including clients and regulators
  • Develop and deliver presentations to EDO Program Office and senior management covering project/program status and plans

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience content-led program/project managing complex work efforts with broad sets of stakeholders
  • ability to gain consensus among project team and stakeholders, and drive initiatives to completion effectively
  • Program managing high impact projects/programs under tight timelines as a consultant or in an internal change group
  • Proactively identifying and resolving delivery problems
  • Identify, prioritize and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions and issues
  • Leading teams of subject matter experts to design and implement solutions
  • Expertise and hands-on experience designing and implementing structured business/operational processes and business requirements documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Management and facilitation to achieve objectives, with both local and with remote teams
  • Program/project management of complex, cross-enterprise initiatives delivered under short timeframes
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills across levels of seniority to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and collaborative working environment across trading and support/infrastructure/control functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce procedural documentation and communicate with senior management
  • Communicating complex topics to various stakeholders to drive delivery, and risk and issue resolution
  • Ability to seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues
  • Knowledge of, and experience in, analyzing legislative and regulatory texts, and associated legal analysis
  • Understanding of the development and application of project standards
  • Knowledge and experience with structured project management techniques
  • College/university degree education preferred
  • 15+ years appropriate industry knowledge & delivery track record is essential
