As a finance team member of the Electronic Attack Solutions (EAS) Product line, you will work the proposal, baseline, execution and closeout process of the programs you lead within the Compass Call Production family of programs. Project finance plans, controls and reports program performance relating to cost and schedule according to the Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Project finance is a well-rounded role that introduces an employee to the various facets of BAE Systems finance. This role supports a largely in-office production team; therefore, individual is expected to maintain an on-site presence to ensure close alignment, effective collaboration and timely support with flexibility within the hybrid (onsite, remote) work schedule.
Job Responsibility:
Contributing program team member at meetings and reviews (program, management)
Supporting program management in all financial aspects of the program, such as baselining, generating estimates at completion (EACs), forecasting and reporting
Lead material cost analysis, reporting and EAC generation, partnering closely with Supply Chain counterparts to ensure integrated planning, accurate forecasting and aligned program execution
Creating and maintaining program baselines through earned value management
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements
Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements, both internally and externally
Proposal support through pricing basis of estimates, compiling cost volumes and preparing request for bid approvals (RBA)
Working with the contracts department for funding, billings and other contractual items
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree / equivalent experience
Prior experience with Program Controls / Program Finance
Proficiency in iPortal, Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer, Cobra and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding and forecasting of key financial salients which includes orders, funding, sales, margin (gross, net), cash, collections and product cost
Experience implementing Earned Value Management processes
Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
