The Sr. Procurement Excellence Manager drives continuous improvement and procurement process standardization, leading Lean/Kaizen initiatives, data & tool governance, and ensuring delivery of savings for MIP projects and cash flow (inventory management and payment terms).
Job Responsibility:
Identify, prioritize, and facilitate MIP/VIP opportunities through structured ideation
Serve as Kaizen facilitator
implement Pull/Kanban and Lean standard methodologies in procurement
Develop cases and total value projections for decision making. Total landed cost
Develop tools to Project PPV for Budget and updates for financial forecast
Implement single-source supplier/material risk analysis and mitigation plans
Track payment terms, payment velocity, and working capital metrics
Optimize cash flow and inventory (EOQ) with Finance/Planning
Develop operating mechanisms, management dashboards, and governance routines
Train managers and procurement teams on processes, tools, and compliance
Report progress, risks, and savings validation (e.g., VCD) to partners
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other related field
10+ years in procurement/operations process improvement with Lean implementation
Experience validating savings, payment terms, and working capital metrics
Strong project and change management
results orientation
Experience with Lean/Kaizen tools, data analysis and visualization
Proficiency with global ERP (preferably SAP) and MS Office (advanced Excel)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
Bilingual: verbal and written communication in English
Nice to have:
CPSM/CSCP/Lean Six Sigma certifications desired
Experience as Kaizen or Shingijutsu leader is ideal
