Proclinical is seeking a Sr Private Account Manager to propel commercial growth and expand patient access for breast cancer treatments. In this role, you will develop and execute strategic account plans targeting private medical insurers and private hospital providers, ensuring the inclusion of innovative treatment pathways and sustained revenue growth. You will act as the primary lead for assigned accounts, engaging with senior stakeholders to communicate the clinical and health economic value of products and support their appropriate utilization in breast cancer care.
Job Responsibility:
Create and implement account plans for private medical insurers and hospital groups
Drive adoption and utilization of breast cancer treatments within private healthcare pathways
Achieve or exceed defined revenue and volume objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including medical directors, policy leads, provider network managers, hospital executives, consultant oncologists, and procurement teams
Present clinical guidelines and health economic evidence to support value-based discussions with payers and providers
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Finance, Contracting, and NHS-focused colleagues to ensure aligned execution
Provide competitive intelligence and market insights to inform strategy
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry codes, and company policies
Requirements:
Background in life sciences, business, or a related field
Proven experience in private market account management, with a track record of driving revenue growth
Strong understanding of UK private healthcare reimbursement and contracting processes
Ability to effectively communicate clinical and health economic evidence
Strategic planning and execution skills, with strong commercial and financial acumen
Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making capabilities
Negotiation and contracting expertise
Collaborative approach within a matrix organization
High ethical standards and commitment to compliance
Valid UK driving license and ability to travel nationally
