The Senior Pricing & Market Intelligence Analyst supports Strive’s FP&A and Data & Analytics teams by analyzing market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal financial performance to guide strategic pricing and product decisions. This role combines market intelligence with profitability modeling to evaluate current catalog offerings and new product launches. The analyst produces actionable insights that impact revenue strategies, cost management, and gross margin optimization across the business.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze pricing structures for existing products and new launches, building financial models to assess gross and profit margin impacts
Account for COGS, OpEx, and other key cost drivers in pricing and margin analyses
Conduct market and competitor pricing assessments to inform Strive’s go-to-market and value-based pricing strategies
Research market trends, innovation drivers, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and potential threats
Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Marketing to align market insights with pricing strategies, forecasts, and profitability goals
Prepare and present data-driven recommendations through reports, decks, and executive summaries that clearly outline implications for business decisions
Support FP&A on forecasting, performance variance analysis, and scenario modeling tied to pricing and market dynamics
Assist in defining and maintaining pricing databases, dashboards, and financial measurement frameworks for continuous monitoring
Requirements:
5–7 years of experience in Pricing Analysis within relevant industries such as pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturing
Additional in-depth experience with FP&A and market intelligence analysis
Expertise in SQL, Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling (pricing, margin, and scenario analysis)
Strong understanding of COGS, OpEx, and key financial performance metrics
Proven ability to synthesize complex market and financial data into actionable pricing insights
Excellent communication and visualization skills to convey analytical findings to both executive and technical audiences
Professional experience building very complex and advanced pricing analysis financial models
Professional experience using BI tools and statistical packages
Professional experience building and running your own SQL queries from scratch
Strategic mindset with high attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration skills
Comfortable presenting information to VP and ELT level leaders
