Job Description:

The consultant will work onsite in support of PowerStore administration, troubleshooting, and configuration. They will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of PowerStore in various environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer PowerStore systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Provide technical expertise in PowerStore features and key use cases, including data migration, NAS, file systems, shares, and exports
  • Configure and manage PowerStore users, remote source systems, and data protection policies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerStore, including IPMI, CHAP authentication, and host connectivity
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement data reporting and analytics requirements using CloudIQ
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of PowerStore product configurations, models, and licensing
  • Provide technical guidance on PowerStore integration with VMware and other third-party systems
  • Develop and implement data protection rules and policies to ensure optimal data efficiency and availability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerStore hardware and network components
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance

Requirements:

  • Ability to work onsite for the duration of the engagement
  • 5+ years of experience in PowerStore administration and configuration
  • In-depth knowledge of PowerStore features, including data migration, NAS, file systems, shares, and exports
  • Experience with PowerStore troubleshooting and resolution
  • Strong understanding of PowerStore integration with VMware and other third-party systems
  • Experience with data reporting and analytics using CloudIQ
  • Strong knowledge of PowerStore product configurations, models, and licensing
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong technical skills, including Linux and Windows operating systems, and PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with IT service management tools and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
