We are looking for a skilled Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Job Responsibility:

  • Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage payroll-related tasks such as garnishments, deductions, and benefit reconciliations
  • Utilize Viewpoint software to track and code employee time against various job costs
  • Handle onboarding, terminations, and salary changes with attention to detail
  • Compare insurance invoices against payroll deductions to ensure proper tracking
  • Maintain confidentiality in all payroll and employee-related matters
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile payroll data with the general ledger
  • Provide support for multi-state payroll operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Assist in auditing payroll procedures and resolving discrepancies effectively
  • Participate in company-wide events and contribute to maintaining a positive workplace culture

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably within a construction environment
  • Familiarity with job costing and payroll systems such as Viewpoint or ADP Workforce Now
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and VLOOKUP functions
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee data
  • Experience managing payroll for 100-500 employees across multiple states
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, including garnishments and deductions
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams effectively
