Job Description:

We are in search of an experienced Paralegal to join a law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Sr. Paralegal, you will play a critical role in our legal team, focusing on various areas including ERISA, ESOP, labor and employment, business disputes, and class actions. This role will require specific skills in Litigation Paralegal, Complex Business Litigation, and Litigation Defense.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in defending companies across multiple areas, including ERISA, ESOP, labor and employment, business disputes, and class actions
  • Provide comprehensive support in litigation processes
  • Conduct complex business litigations efficiently
  • Maintain and manage detailed and organized records related to all cases
  • Work closely with the legal team to prepare for trials
  • Draft and prepare legal documents for review
  • Support the legal team in administrative tasks related to litigation
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation
  • Ensure all legal practices and procedures comply with legal regulations and standards
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and legal representatives as needed

Requirements:

  • Must hold the title of Sr. Paralegal or similar for a minimum of 7-8 years
  • Proficient in Litigation Paralegal practices and procedures
  • Experience in Complex Business Litigation is required
  • Knowledge of and experience in Litigation - Defense is necessary
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in legal research and document drafting
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have a strong ethical and professional conduct
