Job Description:

Our client, located in NY, is currently in need of a NetApp Engineer for a 8 month contract. The consultant will work remote in support of a large NetApp AFF and StorageGRID environment with ongoing storage migrations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, lead and execute data migrations
  • Providing consulting and expertise to analyze and evaluate complex customer solutions on large, technically challenging projects, and business strategies
  • Recording and developing solutions for migration process, and related integrations issues, for clients
  • Communicating and documenting migration progress and issues to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on a W2 basis
  • Strong migration process experience
  • Experience planning and performing data migrations with Datadobi StorageMAP (formerly DobiMigrate)
  • Proficient understanding of NetApp’s ONTAP and StorageGRID platforms and features, specifically as a dependency for executing migrations
  • Strong OnTap experience
  • Strong understanding of object and file storage protocols and technologies (S3, CIFS, NFS)
  • Experience working in a large storage environment in a regulated industry

StorageGRID administration skills
