Job Description

As part of the sales team the primary role of this position is to maximize our on-shelf presence in all outlets served by the merchandiser. Additionally, when required the merchandiser will conduct in-store sampling sessions and in-store sampling and/or promotions. Planograms must be adhered to for both on and off shelf displays. Any non-compliance to the agreed arrangements must be reported to the pre-seller immediately. In addition to these duties the merchandiser is required to supply the pre-seller with the latest market information in order to take advantage of any selling opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Call on specific OT outlets as per daily journey plan provided by your supervisor
  • Merchandize SSFL products within your OT stores in the various access points, shelf, stand, floor display
  • Place POS material wherever applicable next to our SSFL displays
  • Ensure all access points are merchandized as per approved planograms
  • Rotate product using FIFO method, and remove sub-standard products
  • Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on the shelf at all times
  • Monitor and report competitive activities
  • Report any deviations from agreed terms with your assigned OT customer / outlet
  • Report daily activities of the prior day to your supervisor
  • Participate in sampling / redemption campaigns when required
  • Maintain appropriate personal appearance, and professional behavior in line with Frito Lay code of conduct
