The Sr. Media Planner/Buyer is responsible for analyzing, planning, and buying media across a diverse client portfolio. This role works closely with clients, media partners, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic, integrated media recommendations. The ideal candidate brings strong digital expertise, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to clearly communicate performance insights and results. This position is also responsible for the day-to-day execution, optimization, and stewardship of media campaigns.
Job Responsibility:
Support the development and execution of integrated media plans and buys under the direction of the Media Director
Plan, oversee, and maintain expertise across all media channels including TV, radio, print, out-of-home, digital, and emerging platforms
Execute digital media campaigns across SEM, paid social, display, native, programmatic, OTT/CTV, video, and mobile
Manage media plans including budgeting, trafficking, execution, optimization, and reporting
Provide ongoing stewardship of campaigns through daily management and performance monitoring
Communicate placement changes to account and creative teams through accurate traffic and production specification documents
Stay current on industry trends, tools, and innovations, and proactively recommend new opportunities to reach target audiences
Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners
Evaluate media opportunities and present plans and points of view clearly, both written and verbal
Identify and recommend optimizations to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency
Manage insertion orders, monitor buys, and oversee makegoods using SBMS/Strata
Prepare clear, insightful reports summarizing performance, learnings, and future recommendations
Participate in agency, department, production, and client meetings as needed
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in media planning and buying
Deep understanding of media negotiation and buying processes, including the development and management of multi-channel campaigns
Bachelor’s degree required (Advertising, Marketing, or Communications preferred)
