Job Responsibility:

  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs of mechanical parts and assemblies based on project requirements
  • Provide supporting safety and engineering analyses as required
  • Prepare materials for engineering design reviews
  • Prepare technical drawings in compliance with industry standards
  • Work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide engineering solutions to a diverse range of complex technical problems

Requirements:

  • AS or AAS or equivalent with 7+ years industry experience
  • Proficient with CAD software, Siemens NX preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of machine component design, materials, knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience with complex mechanical systems

Nice to have:

Experience in opto-mechanics, precision mechanics, tool and fixture design, high vacuum systems, and precision metrology
