Job Description:

Mechanical Engineer (PE) supporting the design of mechanical systems for new facilities, additions, and renovation projects. This role provides technical leadership in developing construction drawings, specifications, and evaluating existing systems across a variety of facility types including higher education, commercial, hospitality, municipal, and institutional.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop HVAC/mechanical systems based on project scope and client requirements
  • Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning for mechanical systems
  • Write and edit project specifications
  • Perform code compliance research
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Provide construction administration support
  • Perform QA/QC on design documents, reports, and studies
  • Oversee and mentor junior engineers
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and code officials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience with HVAC/mechanical system design
  • Ability to pass background check
