Job Description

This is a hands-on leader role at the center of plant operations, responsible for driving inventory accuracy across raw materials, work-in-process, and finished assemblies. You will supervise daily inventory activities, enforce standard work, and ensure SAP transactional discipline, maintaining tight alignment between physical inventory and system data. Success in this role requires strong capability in part traceability, revision control, and material flow within an engineered product environment, along with the ability to lead, develop, and hold a team accountable to performance standards. This position will oversee cycle count programs, lead discrepancy investigations, and drive root cause and corrective actions to resolution.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead inventory control activities across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • develop, enhance, and standardize inventory control processes
  • ensure accuracy of all SAP inventory transactions
  • monitor and analyze SAP inventory variances
  • drive root cause and corrective actions with cross functional team
  • train, coach, and develop team members
  • prepare and distribute monthly inventory reconciliation letters
  • lead regular reviews with customers
  • maintain documentation and audit trail
  • lead annual physical inventory and system reconciliation
  • partner with Production, Planning and Logistics team
  • drive process standardization and best practices in SAP usage
  • leverage SAP reports to identify trends and improve inventory performance.
