Lead the TLDD team within the Technical Enablement organization, responsible for transforming strategic plans into high-quality, tangible learning assets. This role is pivotal in accelerating technical readiness for internal teams and our partner ecosystem, driving faster ramp-up times and deeper technical competency.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and mentor a team of instructional designers, content developers, multimedia specialists, and lab engineers
Oversee the end-to-end design and development of learning assets
Partner with Engineering and Finance to optimize lab infrastructure costs
Collaborate with TEP to translate enablement strategies into detailed content blueprints
Implement Agile learning development methodologies
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, SE, and subject matter experts
Establish and enforce best practices in adult learning theory and instructional design
Drive innovation in learning formats
Monitor content quality, usage, and effectiveness
Contribute to enablement metrics and ROI reporting
Build and scale the TLDD team as the organization grows
Establish rigorous audit-and-refresh cycles for all technical assets
Develop and execute vendor and scaling strategies, including global content localization
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or technical content creation
At least 3+ years in a people management role leading design/development teams
Strong hands-on technical background with a deep understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices, automation frameworks, and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes
Proven track record in technical enablement or training within a SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud, or similar high-tech environment
Experience managing external vendors, content agencies, and operational budgets
Deep expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and creating hands-on technical training
Experience developing role-specific content for technical audiences
Experience overseeing global content localization
Demonstrated ability to implement content lifecycle management processes
Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies
Proficiency with modern learning tools and platforms
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Familiarity with measuring learning effectiveness and reporting on enablement ROI
