Job Description:

The APAC sector Sustainability Office was set up to coordinate and drive the work to be done in reaching pep+ 2025, 2030 and beyond sustainability targets. This includes but not limited to deploying Capex investments guidelines on “sustainable operations from start” mandate and principle as well as deployment of new tools used related to sustainability such as PEP+ calculators that need to be incorporate with each capex proposed. Also, keeping abreast on the increasing regulations in compliance and ESG reporting that includes improving and proper disclosures of financials metrics by partnering with Sector and Corporate teams. Lastly, driving the review, analysis and evaluation of PEP+ investments within the region with Region SO Office and OU leads, including cross-function alignments including key processes but not limited to, long range planning (SDD), annual operating plan (AOP), and rolling forecasting (RF) processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain financial evaluation models to evaluate PEP+ investment opportunities and accelerated decision making, and to deliver APAC sustainability goals
  • Evaluate capex proposals related to PEP+ investments incorporate incorporating "updated capex policy Sustainable operations from start mandate/principles" ensuring most cost efficient investment by country/BU via but not limited to "PEP+ calculator" inclusion
  • Support in development of annual operating plan and long range planning on investment building blocks both Capex and Operating spends to ensure that APAC delivers its sustainability goals for 2025-2030.
  • Develop and publish Performance scorecards monthly basis on investment spending both capex and OpEx
  • Identify, recommend, and align cross functional stakeholders on new and innovative capital and financial mechanisms to advance sustainability across APAC PepsiCo’s sustainability pillars for organizational alignment and approval (Net Water Positive, Regenerative Agriculture, Packaging, Net Zero Emissions)
  • Support formal incorporation of sustainability guidelines and requirements into internal financial processes including CAPEX governance, and recurring financial planning processes including data reporting by country, BU, Sector level
  • Maintain and improve the sustainability impact & financial models for Sectors sustainability teams via engaging and benchmarking with other Sectors
  • Support the Controls team in any data required in compliance with ESG reporting framework including improving of disclosures of financials metrics in-line with CSRD (corporate sustainability reporting directives), IFRS and SEC requirements, as well as coordination with BUs for country specific ESG reporting requirements

Requirements:

  • 5 -12 years’ experience in FMCG operations, financial planning, data management & analysis, insights, and other analytical functions
  • Previous experience and knowledge of Sustainability initiatives
  • Experience in financials modeling and financials evaluation
  • Stong Change Management & Project Management experience with good analytical abilities
  • Well developed stakeholder management skills including sound influencing and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent communication skills at different level of staff both within and outside of the organization
  • Independence in handling complicated tasks and coordination.
  • Strong problem solution and networking skills .
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to life long learning and continuous improvement to achieving organization objectives
