Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, Sourcing plays a critical role in protecting and advancing ILIA’s gross margin, vendor relationships, contractual protections and sustainability commitments during a period of continued growth and operational complexity. As one of three roles on a high-impact Sourcing team, this position is central to ensuring that our product launches and cost structures support both near-term business needs and long-term brand strategy. This requires not only strong technical expertise in sourcing, contracts, and cost management, but also a high degree of professionalism, discernment, and communication skills to influence decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage COGs and Margin analyses for multiple launch programs while protecting global gross margins in accordance with the published sourcing strategies
  • Successfully negotiate product pricing and tooling contracts to achieve cost savings and maintain budget
  • Report monthly/yearly tariff reconciliation and cost increase roll-forwards to finance
  • Identify and promote sustainable sourcing practices and materials in alignment with company's goals
  • Negotiate various vendor and program agreements such as forecast agreements, exclusivity agreements, IP agreements, and R&D agreements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability, production agility and sustainability standards
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier performance and cross-functional sentiment to support corrective actions and end-of-year supplier performance scorecards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the cosmetics or personal care industry
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • In depth knowledge of cosmetic production processes and sustainability practices
  • Exceptional written and oral communication with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels
