Job Description

Sr. Manager, Solutions Consultant Team Lead - Business Cards & Payments (Remote Eligible) Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) | Build the Future. At BC&P, we bring a builder's mindset to work, just like the business owners we serve. Small businesses are a different kind of customer. They're the people turning ideas into opportunities, and opportunities into livelihoods. When we build for them, we build something bigger. That's why we have a high bar for quality. We own the work end to end, turning today's insights into tomorrow's results, together. We're relentlessly curious. We ask the hard questions. We make space for the best ideas to win. Because that's how we create impact we can be proud of. Title: Solutions Consultant, Team Leader Level: Sr. Manager LOB: Business Cards & Payments Within Capital One’s Business Cards & Payments group, you will find a culture that expects and rewards excellence. We believe in unlocking the power of people and equipping them to do great things. We are looking for like-minded people who can share our passion for success and a high sense of urgency to deliver on customer needs. Our Field teams work with Small, Midsize and Enterprise companies, seeking to understand their business and identify where Capital One products can add value.  We are committed to helping customers leverage our card products and features to streamline their accounts payable process and increase profitability to their bottom line.  Business Cards & Payments is looking for a Sr. Manager to lead our Solutions Consultants team. Our field sales teams need assistance in guiding our customers on how our products will work within their accounting processes and systems. Your guidance, expertise, and mentorship of your team will empower our field sales teams and provide a differentiated level of value to our customers. Your team will play a key role in defining solutions that deliver on a customer’s key business priorities and ensuring value realization of their partnership with Capital One. The ideal candidate is: Strong Communicator: You are proficient in tailoring complex technical, financial, and strategic communications to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives and Senior Leaders. You seamlessly translate technical workflows into clear business value.  Strategic Influencer: You possess the interpersonal skills necessary to drive organizational agreement, challenge the status quo, and implement process improvements across cross-functional teams.  Solution Architect: You have outstanding solution-scoping abilities, mapping current B2B payment products to complex client accounting workflows while effectively capturing market feedback to influence future product design.  Analytical Problem Solver: You proactively resolve complex, ambiguous technical hurdles. You ask probing questions, identify root causes, and mobilize the right stakeholders to correct operational or technical breakdowns.  Customer-Centric Leader: You are passionate about strategic growth and systematically weigh internal operational efficiency against external customer experience when making strategic decisions.  Intellectually curious: You have an appetite to master new technologies, ERP ecosystems, and competitor offerings, while actively fostering a culture of continuous learning within your team.  Results-Oriented & Resilient: You maintain an intense focus on achieving both short- and long-term targets, effectively executing a strategic agenda within a fluid, fast-paced environment.
