This role drives AMD's partner portfolio and GTM strategy across Asia OEMs, working closely with key OEMs and regional partners to accelerate adoption of EPYC-based platforms and solutions. The position combines market strategy, partner engagement, and go-to-market execution, with direct impact on revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term ecosystem competitiveness. The role also serves as a critical bridge across China, APJ, and corporate teams.
Job Responsibility
Define and execute data-driven market strategies, prioritizing high-impact segments to accelerate sustainable growth
Lead complex negotiations, financial planning, and strategic investments aligned with AMD's long-term business objectives
Drive AMD investments with OEM partners across Asia (with a focus on China and Japan) to build a competitive server portfolio
Align OEM stakeholders on product roadmaps, pricing, and platform strategies
Own NRE planning, investment proposals, and contract negotiations to bring differentiated solutions to market
Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure successful product development and launch
Develop and execute joint GTM and co-marketing strategies, including MDF investments, to maximize portfolio adoption
Align sales and marketing teams on product positioning, messaging, and execution priorities
Lead joint business reviews, marketing programs, and budget management to drive measurable market impact
Bridge capability gaps for regional OEMs by enabling international market expansion and engagement
Deliver against market share, revenue, unit, and margin targets
Optimize demand-supply alignment, pricing strategies, and financial models to maximize profitability
Oversee CPU sample allocation and distribution to support strategic priorities and customer engagements
Drive collaboration across Engineering, Product Planning, Product Management, and Marketing to align portfolio strategy and execution
Identify and execute build/buy/partner opportunities to close portfolio gaps and accelerate growth
Champion innovation initiatives to strengthen AMD's competitive differentiation
Define and implement pricing strategies, rebate programs, and financial frameworks to maximize revenue and market penetration
Establish and track key performance metrics to drive data-driven decisions and continuous business improvement
Requirements
10+ years of leadership experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results in cross-functional, matrixed environments
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives, driving alignment on key business initiatives and strategic decisions
Strong experience managing budgets, evaluating investments, and driving ROI-oriented decision-making
Proven ability to navigate complex business challenges and translate strategy into execution
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to drive clarity and alignment across diverse stakeholders and organizational levels
Nice to have
Deep understanding of the server, data center, or enterprise technology landscape (e.g., CPU/GPU platforms, competitive dynamics)
Experience working with OEMs or partner ecosystems, including exposure to sell-in/sell-through business models
Experience working with customers or partners in Asia (particularly China, Japan, or APJ markets)
Experience in go-to-market strategy, co-marketing programs (e.g., MDF), or ecosystem development
Familiarity with pricing strategy, rebate/incentive programs, and financial modeling
Demonstrated success supporting international growth or market expansion initiatives
MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field
