As the Senior Manager Business Process Owner of Labor and Workforce Management, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of labor processes including timekeeping, accruals, labor forecasting, and compliance while ensuring our UKG platform is fully optimized to support business goals. You will serve as a key connector across HR, Operations, IT, and Payroll, aligning systems, processes, and people to deliver accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and a seamless associate experience. This role is ideal for a strategic, systems savvy leader who thrives on driving process excellence, improving workforce visibility, and elevating how labor data supports smarter business decisions.
Job Responsibility
Owns policy documentation via stakeholder management for hourly time & attendance and time off accruals and serves as functional lead for UKG, driving configuration changes, feature adoption, and system enhancements to meet evolving business needs
Manages the configuration update approval process cross-functionally
Manages the UKG WFM roadmap and prioritization process
Act as primary liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations to capture and drive consensus on business requirements for process and system configuration
Ensure required data is configured correctly to flow accurately and appropriately to any downstream systems
Identify bottlenecks in current labor workflows and work with technical team on automated solutions to reduce manual intervention and "administrative friction"
Ensure all time capture and time processing adheres to federal, state, and local labor laws (FLSA, PBJ, etc.) as well as internal collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and company policies related to data privacy and security
Collaborate with our data management teams to ensure the correct definition of data flows and data classification used in analytics, reporting, and AI ingestion processes
Ensure a positive rollout of new UKG modules or process updates through partnership with Change Management on the creation of training documentation and delivery of sessions for end-users
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS, Workforce Management, HR Operations, or a related role with experience in high volume, manufacturing and multi-state employee populations
Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams to positive solutions
Advanced proficiency in UKG
Strong ability to interpret complex labor data and translate business requirements into technical specifications
Excellent written and verbal skills with ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
