A financial services organization is seeking a Senior Manager of FP&A to lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning efforts. This role is highly visible and partners closely with business leaders, treasury, and risk teams to drive accurate forecasting, performance insights, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling expertise and thrives in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead short- and long-term financial forecasting, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections
Manage the annual budgeting process and ongoing reforecast cycles
Partner with business leaders to analyze performance vs. plan, identify variances, and explain key drivers
Build and maintain dynamic forecasting models incorporating market trends, interest rates, and strategic initiatives
Support capital planning and liquidity management through scenario and sensitivity analysis
Collaborate with risk teams to incorporate credit and macroeconomic assumptions into forecasts
Prepare executive-level reporting, including budgets, forecasts, profitability analysis, and performance scorecards
Drive data analysis, model validation, and continuous improvement of forecasting processes
Develop clear and concise presentation materials for senior leadership
Supervise and review work of analysts
lead cross-functional projects as needed
Support audit and regulatory reporting requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
CPA or MBA preferred
5–10 years of FP&A, strategic finance, or related experience
Experience in financial services strongly preferred
Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
experience with planning tools (e.g., Hyperion) a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Nice to have:
CPA or MBA
