Job Responsibility:
Partner and collaborate with multi-functional stakeholders to prioritize, plan and deliver first-rate experiences for Workday customers
Drive the activities of software development scrum teams, including analysis, design, programming, and continuous improvement, ensuring delivery of innovative, high quality software solutions
Engage with Development, Product, QA, Automation, Research/UX, Agility, Doc-writing, and Customer Support colleagues to identify, discuss, debate and ultimately solve customer issues in increasingly innovative ways
Understand and promote industry-standard software design methodologies
Coach and mentor team members to help them to be at their best, assisting with career growth and personal development
Personify and promote the Workday values of Employees, Customer Service, Innovation, Integrity, Fun, and Profitability
Requirements:
2+ years of experience directly managing engineering managers
5+ years of experience building and directly managing impactful engineering teams
10+ years of experience with design and development using an object-oriented language
Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
United States citizens (naturalized or native)
Nice to have:
Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly
Experience in ERP application development is a plus
