The Sr Manager, Business Sales is an inspiring leader that guides teams dedicated to new business acquisition. This role requires someone who is ambitious, results-driven, and ready to revolutionize the wireless industry! As a leader of leaders, you will help lead us in bringing our offerings to new markets and surpassing sales goals together. In this role, you'll facilitate hiring, training, and development of a successful sales team responsible for outside direct sales in a defined geographic area. You will be responsible for mentoring and empowering the right people to lead teams of Account Executives. Your leadership skills will be crucial to your team's success, as both your income and theirs depend on team productivity. By creating and monitoring sales plans, you'll enable your team of managers and their Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Job Responsibility:
Staff Development: Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Sales Managers. Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field while fostering teams and development. Building a culture of confident leaders and helping eliminate internal roadblocks
Relationship Building: Identifying and building strong relationships with internal and external partners
Operational Initiatives: Create and implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards
Lead Generation: Independently generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
Customer Needs: Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services
Sales Approaches: Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals
Deal Negotiation: Negotiate and close deals
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
Acceptable areas of study include Business, Sales, Marketing or related field (Preferred)
More than 10 years Outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment (Preferred)
2-4 years People management responsibilities (Preferred)
2 years telecommunications / technical sales (Preferred)
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Exceptional coaching skills
Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one-on-one
A proven track record of high-yield business sales success
Well-honed negotiating and closing skills
Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes
Ability to manage large geographically located teams
