Job Responsibility:

  • Leads the reporting and consultation team by setting strategic objectives and overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of management data
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to provide data-driven insights for day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and addressing specific business performance issues
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance data modeling techniques, optimizes data collation and interpretation, and ensures accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making throughout the organization
  • Align reporting initiatives with business objectives, identifies key areas for improvement, and develops long-term plans for reporting excellence
  • Act as a strategic partner, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making at a higher level
  • Leverage expertise to extract valuable information and guide strategic decision-making
  • Evaluate and enhance reporting processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and impact
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for reporting initiatives and regularly evaluate their effectiveness against company standards and expectations
  • Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security
  • Provide strategic insights, highlight trends, and present recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with other teams such as information technology, finance, marketing, and operations to ensure data integration, alignment of reporting initiatives, and collaboration on cross-functional projects that require reporting expertise
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to team members, ensuring effective collaboration and the achievement of reporting goals

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years experience with several of the following methodologies: strategic business, planning, and/or operational reporting, project consulting, requirement gathering
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Adept at business intelligence
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills
  • Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Analytical Skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to senior level management
  • Capable of thriving in a self-directed model
  • Experience in Tableau, SQL, Excel, and Analytics

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrated leadership with projects leading to successful deliverables
  • Functional understanding of Senior Supplemental business
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain credible relationships are varying levels of the organization simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations
  • Successful demonstration of several of the following skills: Team building and leadership, analytical and planning, negotiation and influence, change management, organizational and time management, critical thinking, and oral and written communication
  • Experience in data mining
