This role leads a business development team to advance strategic initiatives and partnerships that drive organizational growth. It manages the evaluation, initiation, and execution of new business opportunities including alliances, mergers, acquisitions, and licensing agreements. The role differentiates by integrating cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement to align business strategies. Job Responsibility
Lead the planning, design, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business development objectives to achieve organizational goals
Collaborate with leadership to define vision, strategies, and tactics that guide business development efforts
Select, develop, and evaluate a team of business development professionals to execute business strategies effectively
Manage a team responsible for cultivating and maintaining internal and external business relationships to support growth
Identify new business opportunities, ecosystems, partnerships, and markets for current and near-term solutions
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent

Nice to have
7 + years business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries
At least 2 years direct supervision and management experience
Experience leading business case modeling for complex >$100M/year deals
Experience managing a large portfolio of external partners (30-50 partners), with direct accountability for partner revenue
