We are actively recruiting a Sr. Manager, B2B Outbound Marketing – an experienced data-driven marketer with a proven track record of developing and executing high performing, integrated campaigns in a B2B SaaS organization. This position will be responsible for the strategic planning and development of scalable campaigns through email and direct mail channels to our target industries. The Sr. Manager, B2B Outbound Marketing will coach and mentor a team of Outbound Marketing Specialists to include providing campaign rollout plans, delivering constructive feedback, finding training opportunities, and working alongside them to deliver major projects. You will also work with your director and other marketing managers to gather campaign requirements, provide input on launch scheduling, and engage in continual process improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop annual/quarterly outbound marketing roadmaps, including channel strategy and resourcing needs
  • Utilize industry target data to support outbound content development and segmentation
  • Conduct weekly reviews and optimization for outbound automations
  • Drive structural changes in email platforms to allow for reporting efficiency
  • Partner with analytics and data insight teams to strengthen attribution models and measure outbound contribution to revenue and customer lifecycle outcomes
  • Monitor and optimize email deliverability, partnering with technical teams to maintain sender-domain health and improve inbox placement
  • Establish a structured A/B and multivariate testing framework with roadmaps for testing subject lines, offers, segmentation, creative formats, and send-time optimization
  • Ensure outbound team is working toward company priorities and executing in a manner that generates success for Certus
  • Collaborate with Industry Marketers and Sales teams to ensure outbound messaging aligns with overall business objectives and go-to-market strategy
  • Stay abreast of and recommend outbound marketing best practices with coding, design, and testing of email campaigns

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience with at least 2 years of experience leading an Enterprise or B2B lead generating team
  • Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, able to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Demonstrable motivation and experience coaching and growing members of the junior team
  • Experience with Act On and/or Emarsys, Email Studio, Pardot or other robust email marketing platforms
  • Thorough understanding of strategic customer segmentation and targeting theories and processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications, and processes
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with InDesign, Canva or other print media design software
  • Ability to write engaging, action-driving, and grammatically correct copy
  • Knowledge of how to comply with CAN-SPAM laws
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • including the ability to develop formula-driven Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and leverage pivot tables
