Job Description

We are looking for a Sr Loan Officer to support lending operations in Savannah, Georgia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can interpret financial information, build productive relationships with banking partners, and quickly become proficient in a range of loan programs. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to accurate loan processing, strong cross-functional coordination, and dependable administrative support within a lending environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Review financial documents and supporting records to help assess loan files for completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate with banks and external partners to gather information, resolve documentation issues, and maintain steady communication throughout the lending process
  • Learn and apply multiple loan program guidelines to support proper handling of applications and related administrative tasks
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain loan agreements and associated records in accordance with internal standards and timelines
  • Support underwriting and loan administration activities by tracking file progress, identifying missing items, and following up as needed
  • Build strong relationships through networking with financial institutions and other relevant stakeholders to support business operations
  • Assist with accounting-related functions connected to loan activity, including reviewing figures and reconciling documentation for consistency

Requirements

  • Experience in loan administration, loan underwriting support, or a closely related lending function
  • Ability to read and interpret financial analysis and use that information to support loan file review
  • Working knowledge of loan agreements, lending documentation, and administrative loan processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with banks and external business contacts
  • Comfort learning new loan programs and applying program-specific requirements accurately
  • Familiarity with accounting functions related to lending operations
  • Organized approach to managing multiple files, deadlines, and follow-up tasks in a detail-driven environment
