Job Description

The Sr. Learning & Development Program Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing talent management initiatives including online learning, blended and classroom-based programs and other development opportunities designed to increase individual and organizational effectiveness. This includes all phases of deploying learning events from content design, development, scheduling, program facilitation to post-event evaluation as well as any other training activities the company facilitates. This role involves developing learning modules for various business units, leading new hire orientation sessions, assisting with compliance reporting and content mapping, and collaborating on various L&D projects. This role is ideal for a junior L&D professional looking to grow their skills in e-learning, content development and program facilitation while contributing to key projects that support business goals and employee development.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and design engaging e-learning modules for different business units based on their specific needs
  • Curate competency based e-learning content
  • Ensure content developed / deployed is mapped to ZT Systems’ competencies and values
  • Create and maintain career development content that aligns with business objectives and supports employee growth
  • Lead orientation sessions to welcome new hires, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the company and its culture
  • Act as a resource to ensure a smooth and successful onboarding experience for new employees
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on various training campaigns (new hire on-boarding, yearly compliance training and department specific training) to ensure 100% participation/completion by populations enrolled
  • Create monthly training reports which are shared with business unit managers/leads
  • Contribute to various ad-hoc L&D projects as needed, working collaboratively with the L&D team
  • Work closely with business units to identify learning needs and develop tailored e-learning content
  • Ensure all learning modules are engaging, informative, and aligned with company goals
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new hires to integrate them into the company effectively
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to new employees during their onboarding process
  • Assist in gathering and organizing content for compliance reporting
  • Map content to meet audit requirements and ensure all necessary documentation is up to date
  • Work with the L&D team on various projects, contributing ideas and support as needed
  • Assist with event logistics, pre-work tracking, presentations, vendor relationships, and post-event evaluations as necessary

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training design and development, instructional methodology and adult learning theory
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels and in various departments
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels and fostering a people-first mentality

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with e-learning development tools such as Adobe Captivate, to develop SCORM-compliant eLearning content is a plus
  • Experience with LMS administration using Workday Learning is a plus
