Job Description:

The Balance Sheet Mgmt Sr Lead Analyst at Citi is responsible for strategic professional tasks related to balance sheet management and resolution planning. The candidate will support forecasting processes, develop projection models, and manage liquidity and risk. The role demands proficiency in analytics and strategic planning with exposure to risk and finance processes.

Job Responsibility:

Support Recovery and Resolution Planning forecasting execution processes
support development and enhancement of Resolution Planning balance sheet forecasting capability
develop methodology and projection models for balance sheet and PPNR
execute on balance sheet for annual 165d regulatory submissions
contribute to Resolution Plan narratives
governance of funding, investing and analytics of the balance sheet
manage liquidity and interest rate risk, the capital/legal entity structure and capital planning
manage rating agency relationships
involved in capital markets activities including commercial paper and securitization
liquidity, accrual risk oversight, and transfer pricing
analyze business inquiries and implement solutions
direct project prioritization, platform direction, and strategic planning
assess risk when making business decisions.

Requirements:

10 plus years of experience working for a financial services organization
analytical skills and ability to design strategic solutions and processes
knowledge of Recovery and Resolution Planning regulations
knowledge of stress testing (e.g., CCAR)
experience with modelling and the model lifecycle
knowledge of an Investment Bank Balance Sheet composition and P&L
knowledge of general accounting principles and double entry accounting
thorough knowledge of key Interest Rate Risk metrics (IRE, EVS)
working knowledge of Citigroup Financial Systems (PEARL / GENESIS / Etc.) is preferred
proficiency with standard analysis tools (Excel / Access / SQL)
proficiency with Tableau Reporting tool is preferred
excellent written and oral communication
ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
ability to interact with all levels of management.

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of Citigroup Financial Systems (PEARL / GENESIS / Etc.)
proficiency with Tableau Reporting tool.
