We are already providing IT services and support to Alfa Laval companies around the world, and we are now expanding our operations to meet future demands. Alfa Laval has invested in a ‘Global IT Delivery Centre’ in Pune with the vision to expand and deliver IT services as an extension to our global teams located in Sweden, Denmark and the USA. We focus on cost-effective solutions and improved performance to create a unique Alfa Laval experience! Who are we looking for We are looking for a new member for our Core IT & Infrastructure Operations team as “Sr Infrastructure Operations” to play a crucial role in monitoring, configuring, maintaining, and supporting an organization’s Server Infrastructure platform. Your responsibilities will span technical acumen, customer service, and ensuring seamless access to tools and applications. You’ll address any issues that arise within the platform, safeguard data, and support productivity and collaboration tools. We are looking for a Sr Infrastructure Operations with 5-7 yrs experience to develop and maintain functional and secure networks. In this role you will be responsible for supporting, configuring, monitoring and maintaining company IT Infrastructure globally which are 24x7. Additionally You will mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize our networks. In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture. If you’re also passionate about Cisco Networking, we’d like to meet you. Who are You A person with keen interest on Administration and Automation. Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the Global Network Infrastructure ecosystem. Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems within Administration area. Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain functional and secure networks
  • Support, configure, monitor and maintain company IT Infrastructure globally which are 24x7
  • Mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize our networks
  • Handle day to day LAN Connectivity
  • Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud, Global and local infrastructure
  • Mentor team members on technical issues
  • Communicate with users when needed
  • Suggest improvements to server performance, capacity and scalability

Requirements

  • Experience in Active Directory, Group policies, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, FTP
  • Understanding of networking concept like TCP/IP, Firewall, DMZ,VPN, Load Balancing etc
  • Server installation, configuration, upgradation and troubleshooting
  • Monitoring Server environment
  • DNS replication issues, ADFS issues
  • Vmware trouble shooting, monitoring and installation
  • ESX server installation and configuration
  • Vulnerability Management, Patch Management (Tools like Qualys, SCCM)
  • Knowledge of Veeam Backup software
  • Ready to work in Shifts 24x7 and monitor environment
  • SCCM environment knowledge and trouble shooting
  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
  • Knowledge of Azure environment or certification
  • Handle day to day LAN Connectivity

  • Profession Certification like (Microsoft Server, Azure and ITIL)
  • In-depth understanding of the Server environment like, AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, ADFS, TCP/IP, DMZ, AD policies, Backup, Storage devices or Server etc
  • Server vulnerability and patch management, upgrading OS, SQL servers, life cycle management of server and its hardware
  • Monitor Alfa Laval environment in shift 24x7
  • Hands on experience on servers troubleshooting, installation, upgradation etc
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
  • Organizational and mentoring skills
  • Professional certification (e.g. CCNA) is advantage
  • Good experience of handling network administration and related issues handling
  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
  • Cisco Firewall and SD WAN knowledge is preferred
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
  • Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS)
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
  • Organizational and mentoring skills
