Job Description:

The Integration Developer Analyst II supports the university’s medical enterprise and plays a key role in developing, testing, and implementing healthcare integration solutions. Working under minimal supervision and in collaboration with experienced analysts and leadership, this role serves as a subject matter expert for HL7-based interfaces and integration technologies. The position focuses on ensuring data integrity, supporting clinical and operational workflows, and delivering reliable, secure interface solutions across enterprise systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, test, and implement interface solutions that require HL7 and related healthcare integration standards
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for interface-related technologies and workflows
  • Analyze user and business needs to define technical design specifications and perform need-gap analyses
  • Ensure data integrity through extraction, transformation, and analysis of clinical and operational data
  • Support and maintain system functionality using enterprise integration tools and platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across integrated systems, applications, and departments
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver and support integration solutions
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports, including assisting with the development of custom reporting solutions
  • Participate in projects across the organization, managing assigned tasks, timelines, and deliverables
  • Assist with training new team members and support training efforts for end users and vendors during system implementations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of relevant business experience if no Bachelor’s degree
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare integration engines and HL7-based interfaces
  • Cerner and/or Cloverleaf certification(s) strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in a healthcare environment
