The Integration Developer Analyst II supports the university’s medical enterprise and plays a key role in developing, testing, and implementing healthcare integration solutions. Working under minimal supervision and in collaboration with experienced analysts and leadership, this role serves as a subject matter expert for HL7-based interfaces and integration technologies. The position focuses on ensuring data integrity, supporting clinical and operational workflows, and delivering reliable, secure interface solutions across enterprise systems.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, test, and implement interface solutions that require HL7 and related healthcare integration standards
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for interface-related technologies and workflows
Analyze user and business needs to define technical design specifications and perform need-gap analyses
Ensure data integrity through extraction, transformation, and analysis of clinical and operational data
Support and maintain system functionality using enterprise integration tools and platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across integrated systems, applications, and departments
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver and support integration solutions
Generate standard and ad hoc reports, including assisting with the development of custom reporting solutions
Participate in projects across the organization, managing assigned tasks, timelines, and deliverables
Assist with training new team members and support training efforts for end users and vendors during system implementations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of relevant business experience if no Bachelor’s degree
Hands-on experience with healthcare integration engines and HL7-based interfaces
