We are looking for a Sr. Integration Architect to oversee and deliver complex integration projects with precision and efficiency. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual who thrives in hands-on technical environments and can independently manage tasks, troubleshoot issues, and drive solutions forward. As this is a long-term contract position, candidates should be prepared to take ownership of projects and contribute to process improvement efforts. This is a hybrid (2-3 days) long-term contract position based in San Francisco.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of system integrations using Workato
Automate workflows and enhance manual processes across finance, payroll, human resources, and procurement domains
Troubleshoot and integrate systems with limited native compatibility, such as NetSuite and Deel
Transform and clean large data sets retrieved from APIs to ensure accurate reporting
Manage sensitive data, including payroll and HR-related information, with utmost confidentiality
Diagnose and resolve system failures, including writing and maintaining custom API calls
Develop and document integration logic and workflows to improve operational transparency
Support projects that involve incomplete or inconsistent data sources, ensuring seamless integration
Evaluate and recommend tools for procurement processes, including alternatives to existing systems
Collaborate with entry level team members to guide project completion and technical problem-solving
Requirements:
Proficiency in Workato is required
certification in Workato is highly preferred
Strong technical skills in system integration, including Python and SQL programming and API creation and debugging
Familiarity with finance and accounting systems preferably NetSuite, with a solid understanding of accounting principles
Experience in supporting payroll and HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
Knowledge of procurement processes and tools, with the ability to evaluate or replace systems like Coupa
Comfort working with raw, unstructured data and transforming it for reporting purposes
Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and manage projects from start to finish
Prior experience operating in environments with evolving processes and limited documentation
