An Informatica BDM Engineer who builds and optimizes big data integrations using Informatica, Hadoop, and SQL-based platforms.

Requirements

  • Overall 7+ years of experience in Informatica BDM platform
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Informatica ETL platform preferably Informatica Cloud Data Integration version
  • An in-depth knowledge of Hadoop and HDFS is required for this role
  • Should be aware of optimized ways of using HDFS
  • Basic knowledge of Hive
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems such as Netezza, Oracle, MySQL etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of Big Data in general, and BDM in particular
  • Should have knowledge on SAS and related migrations
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and design
  • Understanding of data integration and migration best practices
  • Knowledge of data quality and governance processes
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
